Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The file is parsed and split entirely in your browser with pdf-lib — it never leaves your machine.
How do I choose which pages to keep?
In "By ranges" mode, set the from/to pages for a range and click "Add range" for as many ranges as you need. Each range becomes its own PDF, or tick "Merge all ranges into one PDF" to extract them all into a single file.
Can I split into fixed-size chunks or single pages?
Yes. "Every N pages" cuts the document into consecutive chunks of the size you set, and "Each page" produces one PDF per page.
How do I get all the output files?
Each result has its own Download button, and when there's more than one file a "Download all" button saves them together. Files are named after the source PDF and their page range.
